How About Becoming an ARA Rowing Coach

Each year the Yorkshire Region runs Rowing Coaching courses.  You do not have to be an experienced rower to join the course which usually takes two weekends and covers both practical and safety aspects of coaching.  The Club has several ARA rowing instructors, but needs more if the Club is to continue developing through introducing beginners, junior rowing, and Project Oarsome.

How About Becoming an ARA Umpire

The Club and the Region need Umpires to ensure that rowing events continue to be run not only in Bradford, but close to home in Yorkshire.  A thorough training is provided and once qualified you can look forward to free food and refreshments at the regattas and heads.  Not only this but the satisfaction that you are putting something back into the sport.
