Bradford’s unique invitational Annual Veterans Regatta when we invite clubs from across the North to send their men’s and women’s veteran (over 32 yrs) crews to enjoy a day of traditional scratch racing in Quads. Crews are chosen by ballot to mix up club members and introduce competitors to a new fun, experience as part of this knockout competition. The day culminates with an Eight’s sprint between a Red Rose crew and a White Rose crew with names being pulled from a hat to win the Peter Finney Trophy. A traditional Bradford curry dinner with beer finishes the evening in BARC’s unique style.
Unfortunately the 2026 event has been cancelled. We hope to see you again in 2027 or at one of our other regattas later this year
